Hilsa fish, chopped onion, onion paste, garlic paste, roasted cumin powder, poppy seed paste, salt, turmeric, dry chili powder and oil.

Method of preparation:
First, wash the hilsa fish pieces well. After that, I will rub the fish with a small amount of turmeric powder, chili powder and salt and keep it for a while. Now put oil in a pot, when the oil is hot, fry the chopped onion for a while, when the onion is soft, add the onion batter, garlic paste, poppy seed paste, dry chili powder and salt to taste. Grate the masala. After that, when it is grated, I will give the fish along with a few green chillies. Sprinkle cumin powder on top and cover with a lid. Poppy hilsa is done.
