Global Net Report, Dhaka 29 June 2021: Shammi Sharmin has been made the chairman and Fauzia Tazreen Dola has been made the No. 1 Co-chairman of the Bangladesh Tourism Explorers Association’s (BTEA) women’s unit National Women’s Standing Committee for 2021-22. The committee includes co-chairmen Kaniz Fatema Panna, Shila Alam, Hosne Ara Rosy, Farhana Kajal, Ruma Mahmud, Shirina Rahman, Nafis Tama, and EC members. Hotels, motels, travel agencies, tour operators, event management, theme and amusement parks, picnic spots, resorts, shooting spots, food catering, online tour operators, souvenir makers and vendors, homemade food service The National Women’s Standing Committee has been formed for the year 2021-22 to organize women entrepreneurs in the new enterprise. Note that the term of the previous committee has already expired. The Board of Directors of Bangladesh Tourism Explorers Association thinks that this committee will play a special role in organizing and training, competing, and conducting seminars for women tourism entrepreneurs spread across various sub-sectors of the tourism industry.
