♦Materials
2 table spoon butter.
1 table spoon oil.
1 table spoon chopped onion.

3 cloves garlic cloves.
1 tea spoon lemon zest.
1 cup rice.
Half a tea spoon of turmeric powder.
Salt and pepper powder to taste
1 cup water
1 cup liquid milk.
3 table spoons lemon juice. Onion-leaf crumbs for garnish.
♦Method: Heat butter and oil in a nonstick pan and fry onion-crush for 1 minute, add garlic-crush and lemon zest and stir till fragrant.

Now mix the rice well with turmeric, salt and black pepper and stir for 1 minute with water and liquid milk and lemon juice.

Cook over high heat until thickened.

Now reduce the heat and cover the pan and cook for 15 to 20 minutes till the liquid dries.

Now take it out of the oven and serve garnished with onion-crush and lemon slices. That’s it.
