Global Net Report :- Sarail thana Police recovered 141 Bhari gold snatched away on Tuesday evening wrapped with blue polythene and costap hidden in a hole near the house of Nitta Talapatra under Sarail Upazila on Friday night 16 November.
During the time of gold recovering Ex-Upazila Chairman Rafiq Uddin Thakur and Sadar Union Parishad Chairman Abdul Jabbar were present with Sarail thana Police.
In this connection, a press conference was held at thana complex with Adv. Ziaul Haque Mridha MP as the chief guest.
It was presided over by OC Mofiz Uddin Bhuiyan.
ASP Moniruzzaman Fakir was present as the special guests. ASI Shahjalal spoke on the gold recovery incident.
ASP Moniruzzaman Fakir said that 141 Bhari gold has been recovered and the remaining goods and cash money are on process to be recovered.
It is to be mentioned that some snatchers grabbed away 180 Bhari Gold and 8,50,000 Taka from ‘Upon Swarna Shilpaloya’ owner Tapan Banik and his younger brother Bishnu Banik from Bara Dewanpara Road under Sarail Sadar Union by throwing chilli dust in the eyes of the victims on their home returned time on November 13.
On the next day Bishnu Banik filed a case in Sarail thana. On that ground Police arrested 2 snatchers from Chandura area under Bijoynagar Upazila. They are Saidul Haque, son of late Nafijul Haque of Kuttapara village and Emran Khan, son of Suruj Khan of Baddapara village under Sarail Upazila.
Based on their confession statement Sarail thana OC Mofiz Uddin Bhuiyan along with ASI Shahjalal with a Police force recovered 141 Bhari gold.
