Global Net Desk: At least 15 people were killed and scores injured in a collision between a passenger train and a freight train at Bhairab Rail Station in Kishoreganj district on Monday, officials said.
The accident occurred at 3:30 pm when the Dhaka-bound ‘Godhuli Express’ train of Egarosindhu collided head-on with a Chattogram-bound freight train. 15 bodies have so far been recovered, said Mosharraf Hossain, duty officer of Bhairab Fire Service and Civil Defense.
The train communication of Kishoreganj with other parts of the country remained suspended following the accident. Chattogram, Kishoreganj, Sylhet And Noakhali train service suspended with Dhaka
