Global Net Report : Partha has made his name in the Guinness Book of World Records by making a safety pin chain of 2403 meters in Nasirnagar, Brahmanbaria.

Perth Chandra Dev, the youngest son of late Jagadish Chandra Dev, a BSS student from Fandauk village in Fandauk union of Nasirnagar upazila of the district, created a new history by making the world’s longest chain by writing his name in the Guinness Book of World Records.

Perth Chandra Deb, an indomitable young man, entered the Guinness Book of World Records on February 12 at 9:01 pm this year.

A Google search revealed that in 2016, Hersha Nan and Nava Nan in Gujarat, India, created the world’s largest and longest chain with a length of 1633.1 meters and included it in the Guinness Book of World Records.

Beyond this record, Perth Deb’s mission began with the firm goal of realizing the dream of a new world record.

The 1,87,823 safety pins of their own businesses worked day and night to build a chain that was 670 meters longer than the largest chain in the history of the East.

It took 45 days to make the chain and it took 241 hours and 42 minutes. CC camera footage has been used to calculate the time. Perth Dev completed the entire work of making the 2403 meters chain by himself without any help and last Friday, September 6, 2019, the chain made by his two and a half mile long safety pin was displayed in the premises of Fandauk Sri Sri Pagal Shankar Temple. At that time the length of the chain was determined with the help of Rajiv Acharya, a lecturer from Fandauk village, Pallab Haldar and Marjan Shah, a surveyor.

After successfully completing all the tests, he sent all the data to the Guinness Book of World Records via email. Later, the authorities sent the world record certificate to Perth Chandra Deb.

Perth says my inspiration for this are my older brothers Jayant Dev and Boudi.

Perth, the indomitable young man who holds the world record, also said that this time I am preparing to break my own record. I will make a bigger chain by stapler pin in front.

Sujit Kumar Dev, President of Nasir Nagar Press club told The Weekly Global Net, Perth Chandra Dev has written his name in the Guinness Book of World Records and spread the name of Brahmanbaria Nasirnagar Upazila and Bangladesh all over the world and he also handed over his certificate to Partha this afternoon.
