Education Desk: Modern journalism has undergone tremendous changes in the wake of the unimaginable advancement of information and communication technology. Newspaper and television reports, features, articles, editorials / sub-editorials, interviews, etc. are now much more informative, interesting and varied. The interest of the younger generation in tourism journalism is greater now than ever before. For those who have already started journalism or are interested in building a career in tourism journalism in the future, Bangladesh Tourism Research Institute has organized a basic course in ‘Tourism Journalism’. This course can open new horizons of possibilities for those interested in building a career in tourism journalism in print, electronic and online media. Through this course, a student will be able to know and learn about tourism journalism in detail.

4. To help build employment in print, electronic and online media.

Eligibility for Admission:
Students interested in doing the course must have passed at least HSC. Those who are studying or passing or who are doing journalism but are interested in building a career as a tourism journalist; The course is open to all.
Number of seats: Maximum 15 students will be given opportunity in the first batch of this course.
Duration of the course: The total duration of the course is 3 (three) months.
Class: one day per week; Every Friday / Saturday
Instructor: The course will be conducted by renowned journalists of print, electronic and online media and teachers of the journalism department of the university.
