Global Net Report : Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina said the government has spent money like water to fight corona virus infection. System loss was not considered in dealing with this disaster. Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina said this in her closing address of the ninth session of the National Assembly on today.
Thanked to all those involved in the fight against corona, the Prime Minister said, “The corona virus has brought the whole world to a standstill. Preparations have been made since its outbreak in Bangladesh. Everyone has worked together to deal with it. The administration and our political activists stand by the people. We have been able to control the death rate because of our concerted efforts. We are cooperating as far as possible. There was no specific treatment for it, but I helped as much as I could. ‘
She said the government has spent money like water to prepare public and private hospitals for the treatment of corona, to build new and temporary hospitals and to procure necessary equipment. Because of this a lot has been controlled. Many developed countries in the world are struggling to cope with the situation.
Sheikh Hasina said there were fears about the economic condition of Corona. The government was aware of this from the beginning. Appropriate measures and initiatives have been taken. Incentive packages have been given in various sectors. Apart from this, cooperation is being provided in various ways. The vision of the government is to keep the wheel of the economy moving so that people do not suffer.
