Global Net Report : Finally, Riya Chakraborty, the lover of Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput, was arrested. She was arrested by the Narcotics Control Bureau of India after three days of interrogation. She was originally arrested on drug charges. The Bureau of Narcotics Control started an investigation into the death of Sushant Singh Rajput shortly after the incident. Indian news agency DNA, Times of India, Bollywood Hangama, The Quint confirmed the news.
Earlier, three people, including Riya’s brother Shauvik, were arrested on the same charges. Riya was interrogated on Tuesday after the interrogation started last Sunday. Riya was interrogated for eight hours today. It is learned that the Riya’s medical examination suppose to schedule for 4.30 pm today. But before that, Riya was arrested by the NCB of India. Riya’s parents have been informed about the arrest of the daughter.
The body of Sushant Singh Rajput was recovered on June 14 at his home in Bandra, Mumbai. According to the autopsy report, Sushant Singh Rajput committed suicide. Numerous fans of Sushant cannot accept the issue of suicide. That list includes many Bollywood stars and politicians. Even the DGO of Bihar police could not accept the suicide after the investigation started. On the other hand, Riya claims that one failure after another in love, drugs, bipolar disorder, declining career, separation from family — everything pushed Sushant to death.
