Global Net Report : The Police of Sher-e-Bangla Nagar Thana arrest Mohammod Naeem from Kafrul area in the Capital, and seized the Microbus.
Sher-e-Bangla Nagar Thana police Sub-Inspector Mubarak Ali confirmed the matter. The investigating officer of the case Mubarak Ali said that the driver Mohammad Naeem was going to drop off some office workers at the time of the incident.
On August 7, Reshma Nahar Ratna was hit by a Microbus while riding a bicycle on Lake Road in front of Chandrima Uddyan in the Jatiya Sangsad Bhaban area.
Pedestrians rescued Ratna and took her to Shaheed Suhrawardy Medical College Hospital. There the doctor pronounced him dead.
Police say they worked in multiple teams to find the driver and the car. For this, they had to analyze the footage of more than three hundred CCTV cameras in different areas of the city. The car was finally found in the Ibrahimpur area of Kafrul in the Capital.
The owner of the car claimed that he had rented the car to a privately owned company and that Mohammad was driving it on the day of the accident.
