Global Net Report : Former senior secretary of the Ministry of Secondary and Higher Education. The government has appointed Sohrab Hossain as the chairman of the Public Service Commission (PSC). He is replacing the outgoing chairman Mohammad Sadiq.
The Ministry of Public Administration has issued a notification in this regard on today. According to the notification, Sohrab Hossain has been appointed to the post on the condition of postponing his retirement leave. He will serve as the Chairman of the PSC for the next five years from the date of assuming office or until the age of 65, whichever comes first.
In his working life, Sohrab Hossain performed various important duties including Rector of BCS Administration Academy.
The term of the current chairman of Bangladesh Public Service Commission PSC Mohammad Sadiq is coming to an end next Friday.
