Global Net Report : AM Amin Uddin, a senior Supreme Court lawyer and president of the Supreme Court Bar Association, has been appointed as the country’s attorney general. He is replacing the late Attorney General Mahbubey Alam. Mahbubey Alam died on September 27.

President  Abdul Hamid appointed  AM Amin Uddin as the Attorney General. This has been informed in a press release of the law ministry on Thursday.

Amin Uddin, president of the Supreme Court Bar Association, was the secretary of the association for two terms earlier. He was the president of the association for the term 2019-20. He was elected the president of the association in the last term of 2020-21. He has worked as a junior colleague of the late Attorney General Mahbubey Alam. Amin Uddin was born in Kulaura upazila of Moulvibazar District.
