Global Net Report:We all know that the holy land of Sylhet was affected by the terrible floods of the Memorial period. The Lions Club of Dhaka Corporate Leaders, a member of the Kings Lions family, has taken the initiative to stand by the people of Sylhet on behalf of Lions Multiple District 315, Bangladesh and Lions District 315A1.
On 24th June, 2022, food items, pure water, Orsaline and first aid kits were distributed to the people in the flood-hit remote village of Mohakhai in Jaintapur upazila of Sylhet district.
Lions leaders of the Lions Club of Dhaka Corporate Leaders led the entire event on behalf of the Kings Lions family members. Honorable members of several clubs of the Kings Lions participated in expressing solidarity with it.
Club Charter President Lion Md. Kawsar, Second Vice President Lion Md. Shahriar Khan, Charter Secretary Lion Rashedur Rahman, Joint Secretary Lion Aminul Islam, Club Service Chairperson Lion Arifur Rahman and Charter Member Lion Md. Ferdous Alam were present at the occasion.
In this regard, the president of the club Lion Kawsar said that Lions Clubs International has been working for the welfare of humanity worldwide for the last 105 years. We are happy that the Lions Club of Dhaka Corporate Leaders has extended its hand of cooperation in this national disaster. He also expressed his sincere thanks and gratitude to all the donors.
Asked about this, Second Vice President Lion Shahriar said, “This time we have distributed relief to about 1,000 people from about 200 families.” As long as there is a flood, we will continue to work on it and try to work alongside the Lions Club of Dhaka Corporate Leaders’ Government in any disaster. Club Secretary Lion Rashedur Rahman wished blessings to all so that the Lions Club of Dhaka Corporate Leaders’ Club can always work for the country.
Respected Lions of Lions Club of Dhaka Corporate Leaders have said that they will devote more to any social work in future.
