Global Net Report : Classes for students admitted to Class XI will start online from October 4. This decision has been taken as the school-college is closed due to Kovid-19. The education boards have sent letters to all the colleges asking them to take necessary steps to start online classes from October 4 & Closure extended till October 31

Chairman of the Dhaka Board of Secondary and Higher Education and Bangladesh Inter-Education Board Coordination Sub-Committee President  In the letter signed by Prof. Ziaul Haque , it has been said that teaching in the classroom is not possible due to Covid-19. In order not to disrupt the education of the students, it has been decided to take online classes from October 4 for the students admitted in class XI in the academic year 2020-21. The letter asked all concerned to take necessary steps in this regard.

Meanwhile, a notification said that Education Minister Dipu Moni will inaugurate the online class on October 4 at 10 am as the chief guest. Deputy Minister for Education Mahibul Hasan Chowdhury will be present as the special guest at the function organized at Dhaka College.

The online admission process for the XI started centrally on August 9. In other years, classes started in class XI from July 1, but this time students were admitted to this class late due to coronavirus epidemic.

Earlier, the Department of Secondary and Higher Education had directed to start online classes in all public and private colleges to stop corona. The principals should send the information about the online classes to the regional directors. Corona has been asked to ensure security on campus by closing all public-private college hostels. At the same time, public access to the college campus has been banned.

On the other hand the education Ministry has decided that all closure  educational institutions has been extended till October 31. Mohammad Abul Khair, public relations officer of the ministry, confirmed the extension.
