The second chapter of the Founders Members Night 2.0 was successfully held on Thursday, May 8, 2025, at Hotel Sheraton in Banani, organized by the Entrepreneurs Club of Bangladesh (E-Club). The event aimed to honor the club’s founding members and present future plans.

Hosted by Arupa Dutta, Joint General Secretary of E-Club’s Executive Committee and Co-Convener of the program, the event was attended by members of the Governing Board, founding members, and leading entrepreneurs. At the outset, Md. Hasan Ekram Ahmed, Co-Convener of the program, was honored with a memento for his two years of branding support.

In his speech, Mohammad Shahriar Khan, founder of E-Club, mentioned that a roadmap has been developed for 2030, under which zonal chapters of the club will soon be launched in different parts of Dhaka. Additionally, district-based initiatives are underway in 10 districts of Bangladesh. The club’s new projects—including Proshar (Expansion), Vinnata (Diversity), Investment Nest, Network Basket, and E-Shops—have already supported over 500 entrepreneurs.

Antu Karim, the current President of E-Club, stated that the founding members are the driving force behind every project of E-Club. He mentioned plans to organize a special Day-Night program involving general, associate, and youth members to make the club more dynamic based on collective input.

The event welcomed Md. Shahinur Islam as the new Governing Committee Chair for the next three years. Additionally, four new founding members were honored with crests, uttariyos (traditional shawls), E-Club Founder Pins, and special certificates.

Speakers at the event included Md. Shahinur Islam, Chair of the Governing Committee; Dr. Himu Chowdhury, Former President; Sheikh Abul Hashem, Managing Director of Union Development & Technologist Ltd.; Mohammad Riazul Islam, CEO of Bright River Bangladesh Ltd.; Farzana Islam Mouri, Founder & CEO of Craftimation; Mohammad Sulaiman Ahmed Jisan, Founder of Public Speaking Official; and Najma Akter, Senior Executive Director of Green Delta Insurance. Project directors also shared details about their initiatives.

The Convener, Md. Abdur Rahman Nipu, thanked all guests and participants, announcing another major event in the second quarter of 2025 to detail E-Club’s future programs.
