Lion Khan Akhtaruzzaman MJFK was honored for his contribution to human service. In recognition of his contribution to human service, Lion Sayed Mohammad Nurul Basir, Chairman of the National Housing Department, honored him specially. On this occasion, Mr. Nurul Basir presented him with a valuable book written by himself as a gift.
Accepting the honor, Lion Akhtaruzzaman said, this recognition has increased my responsibility for the society. Lion Akhtaruzzaman is the President of Lions Club of Dhaka Capital Garden, a lifetime member of Bangla Academy and the Office Secretary of Greater Khulna Samity.
