Global Net Report : Alexandra Berg von Linde, Newly appointed Swedish Ambassador to Bangladesh presented her credentials to President Abdul Hamid at Bangabhaban yesterday.
Following the ceremony, both are discussed the strong bilateral ties between Bangladesh and Sweden. They said, the relationship between Sweden and Bangladesh nearly 50 years.
Sweden continues to work in solidarity with the Bangladesh government and people to provide support both to the Rohingyas and host communities sheltering them.
She joined the Swedish Ministry for Foreign Affairs in 2006. Prior to her current position, she has served as chief of staff to the last two Swedish Ministers for International Development Cooperation.
Her previous postings include Afghanistan, India and in the Permanent Mission of Sweden to the United Nations in New York.
