Global Net Report : European Union (EU) donate 100,000 Euro (almost 10 million Bangladeshi taka) for flood victims as humanitarian aid. The aid will help directly flood area affected people. Specially some districts like, Jamalpur, Sylhet, Sirajgonj, Kurigram, Lalamonirhat and Tangail says a statement of the EU Delegation in Bangladesh today. The aid will also help evacuate people to safe shelters with their assets and Livestock, deliver food packs, water purification units, Tent and essential household items, as well as providing first aid treatment, it said.

Wells and other sources of drinking water have been contaminated by flood water, forcing people to drink unsafe water from contaminated sources, it added.

Bangladesh’s  long-term food security and the Health system, already strained by the pandemic. The agriculture and loss of crops will have serious impact, it added.
