Manusco Airport is located 8,500 kilometers away from Bangladesh. The security of the airport is guarded by female peacekeepers of BanFPU-1, Rotation-14.

Rotation Commander Marina Akhter of Bangladesh Police said, “We are carrying out our duties not only on the soil of the country, but also abroad under the banner of the United Nations with great dignity and pride.”

Marina Akhter added, “Providing security at this Congo airport is definitely a big challenge for us. We are very optimistic, as always, we will succeed again. In line with the UN mandate, we continue to work tirelessly for peace in the Congo. ”
