DHAKA, Jan 8, 2021 (BSS) – Bangladesh Chhatra League (BCL) today
organized a voluntary blood donation campaign on the Dhaka University
(DU) campus marking its 73rd founding anniversary.
BCL Leaders and activists from different units led by central
president Al Nahian Khan Joy and General Secretary Lekhak Bhattacharya
donated blood at the campaign in front of Aparajeo Bangla on the
campus this morning.
Besides, leaders and activists of some other units donated blood and
involved with the main campaign virtually.
The collected blood was handed over to the blood donation
organizations of different hospitals, said General Secretary of BCL
Lekhak Bhattacharya.
“Like previous years, we organize this campaign to help the people
who have to make door to door visit on account of the needs of blood”,
he added.
BCL organizes this campaign in every founding anniversary to inspire
its activists and leaders as well as the people to donate blood
voluntarily, he added.
Leaders and activists of BCL different units took part in the campaign.
