In 2006 Bangladesh Awami League nominated as candidate for Parliamentary Election from Brahmanbaria-5 (Nabinagar). Finally he was selected as a Mohajute ( AL-led grand alliance) candidate from constituency Brahmanbaria-5 Nabinagar by Awami League selection board. Mr. Bulbul is a Managing Director of Beacon Pharmaceuticals Ltd. It is the first anticancer drug manufacturing facility in Bangladesh and one of the best state of the Art Pharmaceuticals products manufacturing facility in the world. Also, he is a Advisor of Bangladesh Krishok League central committee, Member of Bangladesh Awami League Nabinager upazila, Member of Executive Bangladesh Aushed Shilpa Shomity, Dhaka Chamber of Commerce & Industry, Director of Kohinoor Chemical Company Ltd, President of Tejgaon Industrial area Jame-E-Mosque Complex Dhaka, Salimgonj ARM High School Nabinagar, Madrasatul Madina, Thollakandi, Nabinagar, Barail Islamic Academy, Salimgonj, Nabinagar, Founder Member, Governing Body of Salimgonj College, Nabinager. He has born in 1956 at Salimgonj Union in Nabinagar upazila under Brahmanbaria district. Late Mvi. Fazlul Karim & Late Rabeya Khatoon was his parent.
