DHAKA, Aug 1, 2021 (BSS) – Awami Swechhasebok League and Bangladesh Chatra League lit candle lights and paid tributes to the father of the nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman in the small hours of today on the mourning month of August.
The leaders and activists of both the front organizations assembled with candles in front of Bangabandhu house at Dhanmondi road no-32 at around 12:01pm on Sunday.
Later,they placed wreath at the portrait of Father of the Nation.
Awami Swechhasebok League president Nirmal Ranjan Guh and its general secretary AKM Afzalur Rahman Babu led the procession.
Swechhasebok League vice president Gazi Meshbaul Hosain Sacchu, Dhaka city South unit Swechhasebok League president Kamrul Hasan Ripon, its general secretary Tarique Sayeed along with other central and city unit leaders, among others, attended the function.
Apart from this, Chattra League President Al Nahian Khan Joy, its general secretary Lekhok Bhattachariya led theprocession .
Chattra League central committee, Dhaka University, Dhaka City North and south units leaders attended the occasion.
